  • The Naturopathic Health Coach has a good understanding of how the body functions, is trained in natural nutrition and fitness, and has coaching tools at hand to help a client sort out personal problems and achieve goals in life. The Health Coach knows that one can only be as happy and healthy as one’s harmonious life and working towards goals. Natural nutrition is the foundation of good health as Hippocrates said, “let food be your medicine and medicine be your food”. The German scientist, Dr. Warburg stated that “disease can only exist when there is a lack of oxygen”. This is why a Naturopathic Health Coach will always recommend some sort of movement and exercise. The Health Coach educates clients by bringing a better understanding of health, how to maintain it and how to avoid getting sick. After all, the Naturopathic Health Coach believes in the Naturopathic principle that “the body can heal itself given the right condition and treatment”.

  • My Health Coach training was with the College of Naturopathic Medicine, London.

    They are the UK’s leading training provider in Natural Therapies and established in 1998.

    My training is approved by the NHS Personalised Care Institute, UK & International Health Coaching Association and Association of Naturopathic Practitioner.

    Internationally, this course is approved by the International Institute for Complimentary Therapies covering Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK & the EU.

    Although my training covered Naturopathic Health and Nutrition for women, men, children and the elderly - my work focuses on women’s gut health.

  • Initial sessions can be either at client’s place of choice (Ipswich area, Suffolk) or via video call.

    Following sessions are either by video or telephone call.

    First up, a free 20-minute video/phone call. This gives you a chance to share why you are looking for health coaching support and me to explain what I offer.

    If you choose to work with me, I will ask you to complete a very detailed health and lifestyle questionnaire, and 3-day food diary, ahead of your first session. This means we can maximise the session time we have together

    Initial consultation

    During our first session, we’ll discuss your health goals, symptoms, health questionnaire and food diary in detail.

    I'll ask you questions about your daily living and nutritional habits. We’ll talk about emotional factors such as relationships, stress and your support network.

    Then we’ll co-create a coaching plan specific to your health goals, tailored to your lifestyle and personalised to you.

    You will receive your detailed coaching plan, relevant resources (recipes, handouts etc), and any referral letters, within 3 working days.

    Follow up consultations

    During any follow up sessions, we’ll discuss how your symptoms have changed, the progress you have made towards your health goals, how you have managed the recommendations, trouble shoot any issues and update & build on your plan - until these new habits are well established in your day-to-day life

  • This varies widely depending on the number and complexity of your health issues, how long you have had them, your wellness goals, what else is going on in your life, and how committed you are to your health optimisation plan. Some clients notice big improvements within a few weeks, while others need many months. Think of it like this: it’s taken you months – or more likely years – to get to where you are today, so it will likely take some time to get you where you want to be.

  • I don’t encourage restrictive diets, calorie counting or set meal plans.

    My work focuses on sustainable change to support your optimal health for not just weeks or months – but for a lifetime.

  • I will pick up on any red flag symptoms and will write to your GP with your permission.
